The Virginia Press Women Foundation is a 501(c)3 corporation with the purpose of administering and raising funds for college scholarships. The foundation's legal nonprofit status means that when you donate to the foundation, your gift is fully tax deductible.

The foundation's business is conducted by an elected board of five members.

One way the foundation raises funds (and has fun) is with occasional auctions of donated items. Our most recent live auction along with purse raffle, at the Spring 2011 Conference in Fredericksburg, raised $2,400. Thank you for the generous donations, members and friends!
