Member book signing and First Fridays Artwalk, Friday, June 6
Virginia Press Women members will be on hand to sell and sign copies of their books on June 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Richmond Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau gift shop and visitors center, Greater Richmond Convention Center, 405 N. Third St. Free parking is available on Third Street just past the Visitor Center or on the street as available. Parking in the Convention Center deck at Third and Marshall streets costs $6.
Participating authors include Bonnie Atwood, Sharon Baldacci, Nancy Wright Beasley, Sarah C. Honenberger, Norma Pierce and Mary Montague Sikes.
Afterward, at 6:30 p.m., VPW members can meet for dinner at Twenty Seven, 27 W. Broad St. (between North Adams and North Foushee streets), and enjoy the First Fridays Artwalk (www.firstfridaysrichmond.com).
